Electrolysis

Electrolysis is where a tiny surgical probe is inserted into the area to be treated, with this in place, a tiny electrical pulse of energy is sent down to the area. This energy creates a chemical reaction in order to achieve the desired result.

This can have the effect of:

• permanent hair reduction and
• hairs in moles,

and through the technique of 'Advanced Diathermy' can treat:

• milia (white pearly balls beaneath the skin, often found on the cheeks and around the eyes),
• skin tags (excess skin often found in the armpit region or on the neckline),
• warts,
• verrucas,
• red blood spots (Campbell de Morgan Spots) on the face or body,and
• facial red veins (telangiectasia, spider naevi).

Unlike hair removal, often only one treatment is required.
